Your Awesome Book May 17, 2009

Dallas Clayton is a Los Angeles-based writer and illustrator. He is known for his direct style, simple wording, and inspirational outlook. An Awesome Book, his debut work for children, dares kids to dream big and dream often. Dallas will work with students to conjure up their biggest possible dreams and put them to paper to share with the world. The Hammer's collaborative writing workshop, presented with 826LA, is designed for groups of up to 20 students, ages 8-13. Walk-ins welcome. Admission is FREE. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by emailing [email protected] or calling 310-305-8418. All Hammer Public Programs Are Free. Tickets are required, and are available at the Billy Wilder Theater Box Office one hour prior to start time. Limit one ticket per person on a first come, first served basis. Hammer members receive priority seating, subject to availability. Reservations not accepted, RSVPs not required. Parking is available under the museum for $3 after 6:00PM.
