The European Club at Stanford Business School and the GABA Young Professional Group cordially invite you to our panel discussion with young successful Europeans who will share their career paths.

The unique networks and venture capital communities in the Silicon Valley encourage ambitious people and enable them to create what could become the Next Big Thing. Over the past 30 years, some of the world's most successful companies and best-paid workers have found a home in Silicon Valley. But the recent economic downturn has impacted the Bay area. The number of jobs today is about the same as it was in 1995. Entering the job market under these conditions is challenging for all young professionals.

Despite the pressures of the current economy, this group - known as Generation Y, Millenials, Generation Next or Echo Boomers - is one that is confident, upbeat and open to change. They appear to be on track to becoming the most educated generation in America's history. In this event, which is co-hosted by the European Club at Stanford Business School, our panel will discuss how they launched their careers in the Bay area and will provide advice on how to achieve professional success in this environment.

Are you a young professional between the ages of 18 and 40, interested in meeting other young professionals in the Bay area? Then please come and join us at our event where you have a chance to network with and meet members of Stanford Business School's current MBA class.
