Cathy Mann, E-RYT, Owner of The Yoga Studio of Millis will present an excellent yoga workshop on the proper alignment for the body to free the flow of energy into areas that need it the most, allowing the body to do what it intrinsically knows how to do heal itself. This series will teach you how to align the external body so one can experience a deep release in the internal body.

This workshop will emphasize structural alignment and fundamental techniques in yoga postures. Day One we will explore the alignment of the standing and seated postures. Day Two we will explore the alignment of basic backbends and inversions. Tools, props, and techniques will improve your posture, as well as, demonstrate fundamental techniques that can improve the practice of even an experienced yogi. This class will both soothe and strengthen. We’ll work on joint mobility and range of motion, while emphasizing structural alignment and the freedom of breath.
