Co-hosted by CYAPN (Cleveland Young Arts Professionals Network)

Looking for one last summer read? Join CYAPN and YNPN Cleveland as we discuss Michael Kaiser’s bestseller "The Art of the Turnaround" and the lessons Cleveland’s nonprofits can learn from it.

The discussion will take place Monday, September 14, 6:00-8:00 pm at the Erie Island Coffee Company, 2057 East 4th Street.

Kaiser, President of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, has a history of “turning around” troubled arts organizations through creative, mission-driven approaches. The ideas presented in his book are thought-provoking, at times controversial, and applicable to many nonprofits- whether they are in need of a 180 or not.

Find the book online or at your local bookstore. It’s a quick read, but whether you have a chance to read it or not, you don't want to miss your chance to add to this lively discussion!
