Join us for a post-screening reception and discussion of Total Denial, the opening film of the Human Rights Watch Film Festival that follows fifteen Burmese villagers and their plight against the human-rights abuses of two oil giants – UNOCAL and TOTAL. Meet attorney Neil Popovic (Earth Rights International) and Brooke Zobrist, Director of Programs at Foundation for the People of Burma and learn more about the landmark lawsuit against UNOCAL and TOTAL that drew international attention. Refreshments and snacks will be served.
