Yayoi Kusama's 'Fireflies on the Water'-with its controlled environment of lights, mirrors, and pool of water--is one of the outstanding examples of installations that permit the individual viewer to suspend one's sense of self and accompany the artist on her ongoing journey of self-obliteration. This exhibition is organized in collaboration with Tate Modern, London.
