Shakespeare meets the Middle East in this 2008 Edinburgh Fringe hit.

Yasser, a young and idealistic Palestinian actor, is preparing to play Shakespeare's notorious Jew, Shylock. But he's just been robbed of all his props and costume.

A poignant and playful monologue about identity, acting and a pound of flesh, and about why the Arab understands Shylock better than anyone else.
