Nicholas Hytner’s acclaimed new production of Don Carlo, arguably Verdi’s most ambitious opera, stars Roberto Alagna in the title role. Marina Poplavskaya is Elisabeth, Ferruccio Furlanetto sings King Philip, and Simon Keenlyside is Rodrigo. Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Orchestra Metropolitan of Montreal and Musical Director designate of the renowned Philadelphia Orchestra Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts.
