To kick off our first Yahoo!7 Open Sessions event for 2010 we're very lucky to have two guys out from the US offices, Tom Hughes-Croucher and Philip Tellis to talk about YUI, YQL and if time Performance as well.

Tom Hughes-Croucher is an Evangelist and Senior Developer in Yahoo's Open Strategy Group, focusing on Yahoo's Web Services and Cloud Platform. Tom has contributed to a number of Web standards for the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the British Standards Institute (BSI).

Philip Tellis is a geek who likes to make the computer do his work for him. As part of his job with the Exceptional Performance team at Yahoo! he analyses the impact of various design decisions on web application performance.

Tom and Philip are in Australia for the WebDU conference. Come along to this free session to hear them speak about how Australian developers can tap into what Yahoo! is doing both here and around the world, meet both the speakers and get free drinks and food as well!
