XANADU: film & 80's costume contest/dance party April 18, 2009

Critically panned when it was released in 1980, Xanadu has since
elevated itself to the level of Cult Classic.
With almost 30 years passed since it's release,it has now
come to be recognized as a celluloid time capsule of that dynamic era.

The brilliant soundtrack( featuring ELO, The Tubes, Olivia Newton John and MORE),
dazzling dance numbers, stunning costumes and over-the-top movie musical storyline
are not to be missed.

Olivia Newton-John on Roller Skates, Greek Mythology,Gene Kelly, New Wave,
Neon??...Yes, It really is that awesome.

Come early to get your dance on with Disc Jockey Full of Bourbon and
bust out your finest threads and compete in our 1980's costume contest.

Don't phone it in on the costumes--
Fleur de Lethal was raised in the 80's.
So don't give us an ugly sweater and
American Apparel leggings and call it a "costume"
