Forty-eight oriental rugs that depict the countryside and cities of Afghanistan are being sold by the Textile Museum of Canada’s Volunteer Association to support the Museum’s collections. Specially chosen for their exquisite craftsmanship, colour and design, these one-of-a-kind rugs have been handpicked by textile expert and collector, Max Allen. A founding curator of the TMC, Max Allen has generously donated all forty-seven rugs so that these collector’s items can be sold at unbeatable prices.

The sale will be held in the 2nd Floor East Gallery at the TMC.
