World Premiere of Twyla Tharp's Armenia April 12, 2008

Company C Contemporary Ballet presents the world premiere of Twyla Tharp's Armenia. Set to six traditional Aremenian folk dances compiled by Vardapet Komitas, Tharp's new duet features challenging ballet technique and difficult partnering as well as Tharp's trademark humor and off-beat timing.

The program also includes the performance of Michael Smuin's Starshadows and Echoes of Innocence by Charles Anderson.

$20 Students and Seniors, $35 General Admission.
