300 E. Simpson St.
Lafayette, Colorado

When a group of Hasidic Jews from Brooklyn comes to a struggling Midwest town to re-open the defunct meat-packing plant as a kosher facility, the locals think their problems are over. But an epic culture clash ensues that transforms the American melting pot into a pressure cooker that explodes. Literally!

"Postville" is a funny play about serious contemporary issues. The work was one of the selections of the 2009 Playwrights’ Showcase of the Western Region, a competition for writers from all states west of the Mississippi River.
