This is the world festival premiere of the independent film "Around June". It features Samaire Armstrong, Jon Gries, Brad William Henke and Oscar Guerrero and was produced by San Francisco based production company Fog City Pictures. Based on a script of writer/director James Savoca "Around June" centers around a love story set in the shadow of the shipyards of San Francisco. A young woman living with her much adored uncle and domineering, abusive father, meets a penniless illegal immigrant, whose love gives her the insight and courage to finally break free and live her own life.
