Undefeated in his mixed martial arts career, Brian Bowels will go pound-for-pound against former WEC® champion Miguel Angel Torres. Bowels was originally scheduled to fight Torres in the main event of WEC 40 on April 5, 2009 in Chicago though Bowels sustained a back injury weeks before the fight was to take place, causing the WEC to replace him with Takeya Mizugaki, whom Torres defeated. The World Extreme Cagefighting® organization is pleased to announce that on Sunday, June 6th, at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, these two warriors will finally meet in an explosive contest guaranteed to produce fireworks
