With the massive wave of interest in social media and the dizzying array of platforms, many businesses and individuals are feeling confused and frustrated at their current lack of understanding and results. BizSoMe is a training organization that focused on the practicalities of social media, and cuts through the noise to answer the question:

"What can social media do for me?"

Story is the way we remember and organize our experience, the way we learn from others, and the way we influence those around us. Social media amplifies these stories to a vast audience with an almost infinite selection of stories, and very short spans of attention.

There are two major problems faced by newcomers to social media. First, the majority of content developed for social media lacks a coherent and compelling narrative. Second, there is a need to understand how to optimally adapt stories to the unique qualities of each social media platform so that they stimulate conversation and engagement.

Two-part workshop:
1) How to develop stories using the five elements of narrative and using it?
2) How to adapt these stories to effectively leverage a variety of different social media platforms?

What can you expect?
This two-part workshop focuses first on how to develop stories using the five elements of narrative and then guides you through how to adapt these stories to effectively leverage a variety of different social media platforms.

Who should attend?
The workshops have been developed for businesses and individuals who wish to move from experimenting with social media, into the development and implementation of highly effective social media communication.

Please bring a laptop to fully participate in the practical aspects of this hands-on workshop.
