What's the best way to talk with someone about performance management issues? How do you start a conversation with a colleague about a touchy subject? What do you do when someone gets immediately defensive despite your intention to have an open dialogue?

Explore the answers to these questions and more. Exercises and discussion illustrate the effectiveness of different communication tools and when to use each particular approach.
