Through case studies and viewing Internet sites, you will see how these sites work, what you may find, and the potential legal landmines and practical risks involved. You'll leave able to:

-Explain why and how employers, HR and recruiters use the Internet to screen candidates
-Identify the risks involved-"Isn't everything on the Web fair game?"
-Apply discrimination laws and rules to off-duty conduct
-Uncover best practices for employers, job applicants and college placement offices
