-Determine how time off programs can address employees' major life events
-Problem-solve with colleagues on complex leave of absence scenarios
-Analyze methods to educate front-line managers on critical leave issues
-Implement criteria to audit the effectiveness of your time off program

Speaker: Mary Topliff, principal of Law Offices of Mary L. Topliff in San Francisco, specializes in employment law counseling, training and compliance. She advises employers on all aspects of employment law, including designing and auditing time off policies to achieve compliance and employer objectives. Ms. Topliff is currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Northern California Human Resources Association (NCHRA).
