Workshop: Basic Papermaking November 3, 2007

Hand papermaking figured prominently in the art of Alan Shields. This workshop, conducted by an instructor from the Dieu Donne Papermill in New York City, will give a general overview of the papermaking process, covering how to pull sheets of paper, and various papermaking techniques. It will include a lecture/demonstration and plenty of time for hands-on experimentation.
