Today's information technology allows people to work in locations away from their employers' formal place of business. Flexible work arrangements and locations please employees, but they also present challenges for managing workers' compensation. If not managed carefully, organizations may needlessly incur costs of injuries that are not truly work-related, especially if sustained in remote locations like employees' homes.

Using a case study approach, you'll explore why and how workers' compensation and related programs should be updated for the 21st century.

Find out how to:

Identify the common risks, injuries and illnesses in conventional and remote/home-based workplaces

Assess your current occupational health and safety programs for applicability to remote work environments

Evaluate workers' compensation trends and costs to identify red flags and hidden opportunities

Use technology to help manage workers' compensation in today's remote workplaces
