June 1, 2009 - Lagwagon's Joey Cape Fronts Punk/Folk Troubadour Revival alongside Cory Branan and Drag the River's Jon Snodgrass. While the paths of these three singular song-writers have crossed often and in various capacities, this 13 date mini-tour marks the first time and perhaps the only time all three will share a stage. Snodgrass was instrumental in making this happen, as his collaborations with (label mate) Cape and Branan and his recent tours with both laid the foundation for the tour. Cape is most known for his work with the SoCal punk band Lagwagon and also as a main cog in punk super group and cover band legends Me First and the Gimme Gimmes; Snodgrass for helping front alt-country outfit Drag the River and punk/alt-country 90's group Armchair Martian; and Branan, the wild card of the group, is known among his small yet devout cult following as perhaps one of the finest song-writers of this generation. While a musical aesthetic is hard to pin on any of these gentlemen, all three are loyal to writing songs to rival the best of any genre.
