Wooden Shjips is a quartet from San Francisco heavily influenced by the experimentalism of psychedelia, classical minimalism and garage rock. Mariee Sioux cites influences ranging from Van Morrison, Kate Wolf and Joni Mitchell into a expressive, personal sound. Formerly known as Worship, Headdress is the duo of Jebediah Coy and Jedediah Cook, who weave a tapestry of low-fi acoustics and vocals that reside somewhere between Jandek and M. Ward.
