Wonderful Wednesdays:
Imagine . . . what would it be like if the museum’s animals moved about, the instruments began to play, and the years between us and the past melted away? Enjoy a special program, then explore the museum, take part in hands-on activities, or bring a picnic and hike our nature trail. Schedule, hours and admission are subject to change.

11 am: 30-45 minute program;
Noon – 2 pm: Demonstrations & hands-on activities in the galleries

It's amazing what our ancestors could create with nature as their supply closet. Come with open ears to experience the sounds of traditional instruments such as the bowed dulcimer, banjo, zither, and more. For all ages. Presented by Ken Bloom.

Group rate: $4 per child. Groups of 15 or more must call 803.981.9182 for advance registrations. One chaperon admitted free for every 15 children. Additional adults pay $7.
