WOMEN IN THE KNOW ON 12TH AVENUE
3 design conscious Boutique Owners on 12th Avenue combine talents and resources for a one-of-a-kind event featuring

* FINE & FUNCTIONAL ART
* COLLECTIBLE & COUTURE CLOTHING
* HAND-CRAFTED DESIGNER JEWELRY

Michele Mosko Fine Art introduces fiber artist Joyce Barker Schwartz to the Denver audience with a 3-Day trunk show featuring the artist’s hand-made woven floor and wall treatments.

Each canvas rug is a functional work of art that is carefully constructed with woven painted canvas strips. The rugs are backed appropriately in order to serve indoors or out or as a wall hanging. Each is sealed with an acrylic protective finish, so the rugs are highly functional and their textured and hand-painted surface both enhance and protect any decor. The rugs require minimum care and are highly resistant to scratches and stains. When used as a wall hanging, they add texture and excitement to any room of the house or office.

“I commissioned Joyce to create a series of rugs for me several years ago. These fantastic artworks protect my floors and add interest and artistry to my home. They are completely unique and totally practical as well as being an outstanding example of fine and collectible art,” says gallery owner Michele Mosko.

“While planning the event I thought it would be great to include my neighboring boutique owners as their jewelry and clothing are equally artistic. It’s the first event of this kind on 12th Avenue, but I hope it won’t be the last. Wardrobe Works and Morrison & Trattner
are unique retail venues with unusual and exciting inventory. We’re loving the idea of working together and inviting our mutual clientele to experience what we do.”

The trunk show is a 4-day event with a kick-off on Thursday, April 16th from 3 until 8 pm when Michele Mosko Fine Art, Wardrobe Works and Morrison & Trattner Jewelry will be open for clientele to visit door to door. Morrison & Trattner will feature their new spring line of hand-made artistic jewelry, much created with eclectic and antique components. Robin Wackerly will add to the changing inventory of Wardrobe Works with one of a kind ready-to-wear.
