Kicking off TONIGHT August 18, WOMANROCK is re-introducing its networking evenings, providing members and their guests not only with an opportunity to meet their peers, but also to learn more about the music industry and their craft. FREE to members, networking evenings will take place every other month, and will be held at the Living Room, a landmark venue in New York City.

For the August 18 evening, the educational element will focus on "Publishing and the Indie Artist" and will include a Q&A with J.W. Johnson, Senior Director, Artist Public Relations, BMI. As well as the educational aspect, networking evenings will also include ample time to meet fellow members, and to relax to some great DJ sounds. In August, DJ Dug Drogges will be spinning Brazilian trance and mellow soul.

Email me with questions or to have me send you membership info. We also host showcases every other month at The Living Room. STOP BY and say hello!

This will be a great night to mingle with female musicians and learn what worked/what didn't for others, talk about doing future shows together, and learn all about WOMANROCK. Oh yeah, you should have some fun too!
