Join us for our very first winemaking walkabout and tasting! On Monday, July 9, Brooklyn Winery Co-Founder John Stires will give you an insider's look at our Williamsburg wine production facility where we hand craft our very own small batch wines. He'll talk you through the winemaking process while showing you the actual equipment we use -- and at each stop along the way, you'll get to taste a recently-released Brooklyn Winery wine (6 wines in all). Here are a few highlights of this walkabout:

- Behind-the-scenes peek at one of NYC's only urban wineries
- Intro on how to taste wine
- Learn about crushing and pressing grapes
- Discuss the wine aging process
- Find out the difference between the production process for red, white, rosé, and even orange wine
- Learn how two wines made from the same grape grown in the same vineyard can taste completely different from one another

Cost is $40 per person and includes a taste of six limited edition Brooklyn Winery wines. The tour and tasting will last one to one and a half hours and will not be seated, so please expect to stand for the duration (comfy shoes are recommended).
