(San Francisco) ? Come to the "Wine Wizards of OZ" Tasting at the W Hotel (WWOW) in San Francisco to sip wines and enjoy munch-kins on Thursday, March 30th, from 6:30-8:30 PM!

Travel between the ?Golden City of OZ? (aka San Francisco) and the ?Great Land of OZ? (aka Australia) just got better than a hot air-balloon ride to ?somewhere over the rainbow.? Qantas Airways, Ltd., the flagship carrier of Australia (and a PATA Airline member) is launching its 1st non-stop flight between Sydney and San Francisco in late March.

These magical destinations and portals of the Pacific Rim not only share the whimsical moniker of "OZ," they also host some of the greatest wine growing regions in the world. On March 30th, the PATA NorCal Chapter celebrates this hallmark with a wine tasting featuring the best from both lands. Representatives from Tourism Australia and San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau will provide educational insights into their respective wine growing regions and unique tourism destinations.

Featured wines include: Unforgettable Australian Wines, Aussie Imports, Domaine Carneros (Napa), Williamson Wines and Arrowood Winery (Sonoma), Brokenwood wines from the Hunter Valley, NSW and more...

Open to the travel and meeting planner industry and all wine and travel enthusiasts.
