Wine In Time Dinner with Lorenza de’ Medici October 18, 2007

As part of the wine series "Wine In Time" Oliveto will host a dinner in honor of Ms. de’ Medici who they credit with being “at the source of Oliveto.” The menu by Chef Paul Canales will be full of a la carte dishes from the Chianti area accompanied by older vintages of wines from Lorenza’s own estate winery at Badia a Coltibuono.

Dining with de’Medici, October 16th to 22nd
Friends of FAI (The National Trust for Italy) is celebrating culinary icon Lorenza de'Medici with a week of Bay Area wine and food events. Lorenza is known as one of the pioneers in bringing Italian cuisine to the American table with her beautiful cook books and charming PBS cooking show The de'Medici Kitchen which aired in the 1980's. All proceeds will go towards FAI's restoration projects.
