Wine Country Goes Green: Grand Opening Celebration & Full Moon Party July 18, 2008

Wine Country Adventures is Northern California's first travel company dedicated to ecotourism and sustainable adventure travel.

Our grand opening is this weekend, July 18-20.

We are celebrating by offering a special "grand opening" package for Bay Area residents. This includes free round-trip transportation to Wine Country from Berkeley in our biodiesel shuttles. Join us to explore off-the-beaten track Wine Country destinations, far from the tours buses and faux chateaux of the traditional Napa circuit.

Special events during the weekend include:
* Guided tours of sustainable vineyards, farms, and artisanal food-makers, where visitors will have personalized interaction with owners and wine makers.
* A variety of outdoor adventures, including guided wildlife walks, hiking, and river tours in some of Wine Country's most beautiful but out-of-the-way wilderness destinations.
* A full moon festival on a beautiful llama ranch, with music, food and other activities.
* A variety of spiritual and contemplative activities, including outdoor yoga and guided meditation.
* The opportunity to learn more about sustainable travel and conscious living from a diverse set of experts: biodynamic vintners; green entrepreneurs; natural builders; ecotourism professionals; and others.
This special events weekend is comprehensive and includes all transportation (in a comfortable biodiesel vehicle) to and from the Bay Area, as well as within Wine Country. The package also provides for overnight lodging, all activities and festivities, and "green epicure" food and beverages -- local, sustainable, and delicious.
