Wine and Dine Smyrna 2009 June 6, 2009

The fourth annual Wine and Dine event will take place from 1 – 5 PM on June 6 at Smyrna Market Village. Once again the event will bring together a full day of wine tasting, cuisine from top local restaurants, live music presented by Blues legend Francine Reed and wine seminars from Australian wine maker, Mark Davidson. Wine and Dine gives Atlanta’s food and wine enthusiasts a chance to enjoy fabulous food and tastings of over 50 wines in a wonderful outdoor setting, while also supporting a local non-profit organization. All-inclusive tickets: $35/advance & $40/door.

Participating restaurants include: Atkins Park, Chow Baby, Crepe Revolution, Taverna Fiorentina, Marlow’s Tavern and others to be announced soon! Guests will also enjoy cheese samples that add the perfect complement to the wine, presented by Cabot Creamery. Live music by the soulful Francine Reed. This Blues legend has crooned with Willie Nelson and Lyle Lovett, just to name a few. She will take the stage from 2-4:30pm. A portion of the proceeds benefit Mustard Seed Communities, who aim through the positive interaction of caring, sharing and training, to uplift the most vulnerable members of society, especially handicapped and abandoned children, and marginalized communities. They are committed to the fostering of homes and communities. Wine and Dine is presented by Atkins Park, Launch Atlanta and TrendSetting Productions.
