Willie Nelson is a country music legend with popularity beginning as one of the leaders of the outlaw country movement in the 1970s. As a result of his wildly-popular album, Red Headed Stranger, released in 1975, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings created their own genre of country music as self-declared outlaws. The album included Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain, which became Nelsons first number one hit as a singer.
