Learn what you can do to enhance wildlife habitat!

There are many things landowners can do to improve property to benefit wildlife. Arkansas Game & Fish Commission biologists will explain management practices landowners can utilize on Thursday, August 13, at the Central Arkansas Nature Center from 7-8 pm. Topics will include suggested plants for fall food plots, planting and fertilizing recommendations, forest and field management practices, controlled burning, water locations, and more. The seminar is targeted at private landowners and hunting clubs or leases who have at least 40 acres to manage.

The facility is within Riverfront Park in downtown Little Rock. Free parking is available within the River Market District and below the I-30 bridge. A walkway to the nature center is located beside the Museum of Discovery on Clinton Ave. Admission is free thanks to voter approval of Amendment 75 of 1996. Seating is limited, so call the nature center office at 501-907-0636 to register to attend.
