Hard times, changing markets, unpredictable economy: The news of the day brings uncertainty and maybe anxiety to consultants and to our clients. Uncertainty may also bring opportunity for consultants who update our business models, our understanding of our markets, and our knowledge of the greatest value we can offer clients in the midst of change.

Our January meeting will feature examples of successful reinventions WIC members have created, moderated discussion of what we can learn from experience and how we can invent new solutions, and lots of networking and idea sharing.

WIC San Francisco's theme for 2009 is Learning from and with each other. Bring your questions, your ideas, plenty of business cards, and your desire to learn and to share your knowledge.

• WIC Members: $20 preregistration, $25 at the door
• Non-WIC Members: $25 preregistration, $30 at the door
