Why Documentary? September 15, 2007

On the occasion of the gallery's 30th birthday, the exhibition looks at some of the key territories and bodies of work through which Side has celebrated the traditions and possibilities of humanist documentary. It looks at the creative drives that led to Amber opening the gallery in 1977; at the defining concerns that have shaped its history.
