An evening of heavy, heavy afrobeat featuring the SF Bay's incredible afrobeat ensemble, Albino! Proceeds go to benefit the 37th annual Whole Earth Festival - a free, volunteer-run, grassroots environmental/socially conscious arts, crafts, education, music and dance extravaganza in Davis, CA. The 2006 festival will run May 12-14, 2006 at the University of California in Davis.
The benefit will take place at the Veterans' Memorial Theatre (203 East 14th Street in Davis), March 31st with the doors opening at 8:00pm
In addition to Albino!'s performance, Davis' DJ Nix will spin afrobeat and funk in between sets. There will also be baked goodies for purchase as well as organic beer.
