White Stripes DVD - Under Great White Northern Lights - screening March 15, 2010

Next Tuesday, March 16th , Criminal Records will be hosting a neat little get together to celebrate the release of the new live dvd/cd/lp "Under Great White Northern Lights" by the White Stripes. At 7 pm we'll be screening the documentary-style film which follows the band throughout their unconventional 2007 tour of Canada. From bowling alleys, to buses, to boats, to theaters, the White Stripes play just about everywhere to achieve their goal of performing in every single province up north. Director Emmett Malloy's up close and personal look at the band is almost entirely free of dialogue and prefers to let the music do the talking. Come on down to check out the film and pick up a copy for yourself. When you do so, you'll be entered in a drawing to win a White Stripes cd/vinyl prize pack.
