The bluegrass/old-time/Americana trio Whiskey Puppy has been performing around Portland, OR since 2000. Whiskey Puppy strives to preserve traditional bluegrass and old-time music, specializing in finding the obscure old songs that few dare to cover. Whiskey Puppy's broad repertoire includes jug band music of the early 1900s, old-timey tunes, songs of the Southern string bands of the 1930s, and bluegrass old and new.
