What your Mother Never Told You with Our Bodies, Ourselves co-author Emily Bender, NC, CHN

Sunday March 29th from 1-4pm
In Central Berkeley, in the community center behind the Unitarian Church on Cedar and Bonita St.

This interactive workshop is designed for women who want a deep and detailed understanding of how their bodies work. It is ideal for women who struggle with PMS, Cramps, menstrual migraines or other menstrual issues, those who would like to make a change to more natural birth control methods or who would like to pinpoint their most fertile time of the month to increase their chances of getting pregnant. The class also covers foods that are most supportive to women's reproductive health including a cooking demonstration and tasting.

Taught by
Emily Bender, NC, CHN is the co-author of "Our Bodies, Ourselves" and a Certified Holistic Nutrition Consultant with her own practice, Nutrition for the Whole Family. She teaches Masters level students at Hawthorn University.

Karmin Guzder teaches Gardening and Nutrition at Waldorf Schools as well as teaching healthful cooking classes. She is passionate about traditional foodways and natural health that supports a sense of confidence and well being.
