The Hadassah-Brandeis Institute Project on Gender, Culture, Religion, and the Law will host Canadian Supreme Court Justice, Rosalie Silberman Abella, on campus for a discussion on, “What History Teaches Us: Gender and Human Rights in the New Century.” Justice Abella’s influential theories on gender equality have influenced courts and legislatures around the world.

The lecture will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8 in the Usdan Student Center, International Room, located at Brandeis University, 415 South St. Waltham. A reception with light refreshments will precede the talk at 6:30 p.m.
