West Coast Funnies, Stand-up & Sketch Comedy Show May 16, 2009

Drake Witham will be the headliner for this month's West Coast Funnies Stand-Up and Sketch Comedy Show. Drake is an award-winning journalist who always enjoyed making his co-workers laugh. He has performed on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham" and the "Late Late Show" with Craig Ferguson. A graduate of the University of Washington, he won the Seattle Comdey competition and has made two USO tours to Iraq to entertain our troops. The WCF will also feature stnd-up comedian Carlos Kotkin and the sketch comedy of the Pearl Street Players. The MC for the evening will be the popular Kurt Swann. Originally from the Midwest, Kurt brings a down-home sense to the WCF shows. His style has been compared to a young Johnny Carson, not bad company!
