Weekly Wine Down October 8, 2010

The Wine Down events at Fantasy Springs continue gaining popularity.
On October 8th at 7pm, the Wine Down features “Red Wines from the Old World.” These include rich and robust red wines from France, Spain, Greece and other European wine growing regions.

The Wine Down begins at 7:00p.m. inside the picturesque 12th Floor Wine Bar & Cocktail Lounge. It takes the guesswork out of ordering and buying wine and helps guests get a feel for the kinds of spirits they really like, without making a big investment in bottles whose contents you might not like anyway. With admission, guests will receive a flight of the night’s featured wines or beers, plus learn about the nuances and finer points of each from winery representatives.

During each Wine Down, guests will also learn how to make creative and innovative cocktails from Fantasy Springs’ beverage manager, Dan Thomas. Guests also receive samples of all the cocktails Dan makes, as well as a gourmet cheese plate with the admission price. Guests must be 21 or older to attend the Weekly Wine Down.
