The Webster University Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of conductor, Paul G. Davis, presents a program of music associated with the night. Special guest artist for the evening is Daniel Schene, professor of Piano Performance at Webster University. The program will open with exquisite ballet music from Tchaikovsky's 'Sleeping Beauty.' The WUSO then recognizes the 200th year of the birth of celebrated composer Frederic Chopin as Daniel Schene performs the Piano Concerto in F minor. The concert concludes with one of the most cherished symphonies in the repertoire, Johannes Brahms' Second Symphony in D Major.
