Web Analytics Wednesday is a networking event for web analytics professionals. Open to everyone, practitioners and vendors alike, Web Analytics Wednesday is a free event allowing you to meet folks with similar work interests.

UPDATE!

If you're hoping to attend tomorrow's WAW, listen up because we've got a slight change of plans. I've just learned that the esteemed Avinash Kaushik will be speaking tomorrow night at a free ACM event in Palo Alto:

This is too good to miss, so we will be moving WAW to Avinash's event (a mere 5 miles from our original meeting spot). Please go directly to SAP Labs, Building D, 3410 Hillview Avenue, Palo Alto. Show up at 6:30 for pizza and drinks, 7:00 for the talk.

Event recap:

Were you there at Web Analytics Wednesday last week? It was impossible to tell who "we" were, since our group intermixed with the ACM Data Mining SIG at Avinash Kaushik's presentation. It was a justifiably popular event; at the last minute the organizers had to relocate the burgeoning crowd to a room capable of containing all 100 or so of us. Avinash talked about - among other things - voice of the customer, multivariate testing, and the idea that web analytics ought to extend beyond just clickstream data. If you're not already following his blog, it's definitely worth reading: http://www.kaushik.net/avinash/
