The city of Houston claims a colorful history filled with visionaries who helped transform Houston from a regional hub to the dynamic, international metropolis it is today. Their leadership and, in many cases, their money brought economic strength, world-class art and architecture, and international respect. Local experts will examine the impact of several influential individuals, families and groups that altered the course of Houston.
