Wayne Shorter Quartet with Imani Winds September 28, 2008

The acclaimed Wayne Shorter Quartet blazes onstage with sizzling dynamics and improvisational unpredictability, jazz burning at the center. Imani Winds joins them with repertoire that blows past the boundaries between jazz and contemporary music. Individually and united as a nine-piece ensemble, the two groups will explore a vast range of musical territories.

Please note that this performance begins at 6PM. Immediately following the performance, the audience is invited to join us in a post-show celebration with the artists in the Grand Pavilion, featuring hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.
