WALK-IN, written and directed by Scott Blum and likened to the "City of Angels meets Marley & Me," features the remarkable story of Don Newport, an engineer who comes face-to-face with his personal destiny under extraordinary circumstances. After learning that he has a terminal disease, he meets an angel named Robert, who agrees to take over Don's diseased body in the promise of a new one. Unbeknownst to him, Don is given the body of a puppy. The angel subsequently inhabits Don's previous body and comically grapples with his newfound human form.

This dark comedy premiered at the Ashland Film Festival on April 16th, 2012 and sold out within a few hours, receiving high acclaim from fans and critics alike. The film was nominated for Best Picture from the Spirit Quest Film Festival in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. It also played to sold-out audiences at the Varsity Theatre in Ashland, Oregon during its initial two week run in June 2012.

WALK-IN stars newcomers Danforth Comins and Miriam Laube who are acclaimed Shakespearean actors, and their experienced supporting cast including : Richard Elmore, Catherine Coulson (Twin Peaks), Douglas Rowe (M*A*S*H) , Michael Elich, Jimmy Garcia, Liisa Ivary, Brad Whitmore, Brandy Carson, Renee Hewitt, Jonathan Toppo, Orion Bradshaw and more.

WALK-IN was filmed on location in Blum's hometown of Ashland, Oregon, as well as, neighboring Southern Oregon towns of Medford and Merlin. The experienced crew was from both Southern Oregon and the Portland area, including those who worked on Grimm, Portlandia, Twilight, and other high profile Oregon productions.

WALK-IN is slated for a theatrical run at the Laurelhurst Theater in Portland, Oregon from September 2127, 2012. It will also screen in select theatres and venues nationwide.
