"Join thousands of area cyclists for a celebration of bicycling as a clean and fun form of transportation at Bike to Work Day 2005! This year's event will take place on Friday, May 20th at locations around the Washington region. Each 'pit stop' will offer breakfast, entertainment, dynamic speakers and chances to win bicycles and other prizes. Register by May 14th and receive a free Bike to Work Day t-shirt and for a chance to win a free bike from City Bikes!
Don't know how to ride there? WABA volunteers will be leading 'commuter convoys' from across the area to downtown, DC. Each convoy leader is an experience bicycle commuter that can assist you with safe riding and equipment tips as well as the best route to your destination."

This is a great event. If you've never ridden your bike to work, you'll be surprised how easy it can be to bike in the District.
