Vote for Change Concert With B Side Players and Transfer! October 3, 2008

Come check out two of SoCal's hottest bands at one of San Diego swankest venues!

In addition to rocking out, we will be registering voters, selling official Obama merchandise, and signing up new volunteers for the final push. YES WE WILL!

The B Side Players were hailed as one of the best new artists of 2007 on iTunes. If they were a fine cuisine, I'd describe them as Latin/Caribbean fusion in a hip-hop reduction sauce. Yeah, so no one is sending my resume to Rolling Stone, but don't let that stop you from checking out this magnificent band who represents diversity and change as much as Obama himself (which is maybe why they love him so much). And moving onto Transfer. . . if you haven't caught them live at the Casbah or the Viper Room, you MUST come see for yourself why Transfer has generated so much buzz and a tremendous writeup in Spin magazine. Personally, I am big fan of Tool, Blind Melon, and Radiohead and can tell you that if you like any of those bands you will LOVE Transfer. Also, as part of my Grassroots Finance Committee fundraising drive, I am offering some campaign paraphernalia from Denver and a Hope postcard autographed by Senator Obama.

The autographed Hope postcard will go to the person who donates the most money to my personal webpage between now and October 3, 2008 (11:59 p.m.). Everything else--in addition to some great prizes donated by Transfer--will be raffled off at the concert on October 3, 2008. All you need to do is make a $5 donation online (on my personal fundraising page) to be entered. But if you want to donate more, feel free. You will get one raffle ticket for each $5 donated. I'll take care of the paper work & will be by the front door at the event. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at the event, of course.
