Hype Life Music's Soul Revolution Veers Deep Into The Other Side
With their musical coup d'état in full swing, Hype Life Music is showing its eclectic side with Vortex, The Alternative Side of Black Music, at S.O.B.s Tuesday, September 29th . Vortex is a peek into the diverse richness of black music centering on musical genres such as: Rock, Punk, Metal, Hip-Hop, Electronica, Avant-Garde Jazz, Ska and Future Soul as well as the heroes and heroines that are bringing this music to the forefront. For its debut, Vortex is shaking, rattling and humming into fall with performances by Bazaar Royale & Tamar-Kali.
Bazaar Royale is the “prince of Ghetto Metal.” By fusing the fierce, high-energy sounds of Rock and Hip Hop with gritty vocals and soulful rhythms Bazaar produced a unique sound which he has dubbed "Aggressive Soul." Like a true revolutionary, Bazaar is poised to shatter the paradigms of the musical status quo. By using pain and suffering to inspire hope and refusing to deviate from his musical destiny, he has amassed a following that has caused a movement.
